This image of John F. Kennedy in Victory Park during his presidential campaign around 1960, shows how times truly have changed! With the politician being squeezed through a crowd of Manchester residents, business owners, workers and supporters, the police struggle to hold back the people reaching out to shake his hand.

A terrific snapshot of a different time in Manchester’s history! Downtown Manchester is full of rich and interesting history throughout the course of time and we love sharing that with you!

Tune in next week for for more information about the history of downtown Manchester!
