CHaD Battle of the Badges Baseball Classic | 1:30pm & 5:00pm | The Verizon Wireless Arena

Come cheer for “Team Police” and “Team Fire” as they take to the diamond for the 6th annual CHaD Battle of the Badges Baseball Classic, on Sunday, August 28 at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester. This lively matchup between our community heroes benefits the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CHaD) with 100 percent of proceeds going to support critical programs and young patients at CHaD.

Representatives of police and fire departments from communities across New Hampshire bring their baseball skills to the diamond in this exciting game of good vs. good.

Players commit to raising at least $1,000 each to demonstrate their passion and support for CHaD’s mission to serve the region’s children. CHaD helps players connect with the cause behind the game by pairing them with “CHaD Buddies,” young CHaD patients who serve as special guests at the game.

Fans can get into the action by contributing to player fundraising and by wearing red or blue on game day to cheer for their community’s local heroes. Tickets are $10 each; kids 10 and under are free. Info on rosters, tickets, and more can be found at www.CHaDBaseball.org.
