With Thanksgiving right around the corner, so are our Holiday and Shop Small events! Downtown Manchester is the hub for all things Holiday and Christmas–whether it be the Shop Small Movement, Holiday Market, or the Annual Manchester Christmas Parade!
Shop Small Movement
The Saturday following Thanksgiving is known as ‘Shop Small Saturday!’ This movement is to encourage people to head to their local shops, restaurants, and businesses FIRST to kick-start their Holiday shopping! We figured why stop at the one day on the 28th of November? This year, we’re proud to present our Shop Small Pledge for the Holiday season! The pledge is simple; sign your name if you want to do your best to shop small this Holiday season. Whether it be buying restaurant gift cards from your favorite lunch spot, a beautiful piece of jewelry, or some whimsical home decor–you can get it all Downtown! Click here to take the pledge!
Downtown Holiday Market
This year’s dates:
Thursday, December 3rd, 10am-5:30pm
Thursday, December 10th, 10am-5:30pm
Saturday, December 12th, 9am-3pm
Thursday, December 17th, 10am-5:30pm
Shop unique, local artisan goods this holiday season at the Downtown Manchester Holiday market, happening inside the Brady Sullivan Plaza at 1000 Elm Street. Free entry for all shoppers! Our market is proud to feature hand-crafted products of all kinds including: jewelry, art, artisan foods, glassware, and more! The Holiday Market gives shoppers an opportunity to purchase gifts that their loved ones will always remember and find useful. We encourage you to make it a Day Downtown! Between our amazing Downtown restaurants, retailers (explore our Downtown businesses here), and our talented vendors, Downtown Manchester has everything you need for all of your Holiday Shopping! Manchester Christmas Parade
Join us for our Annual Christmas Parade–the largest in the State! The parade will kick-off at 4:00pm at the Brady Sullivan Tower on North Elm Street and will continue down Elm Street where it will end at Veterans Park! Children’s’ eyes grow big at the brightly decorated floats with their colorful characters and finally, Jolly Old Santa Claus in his bright red fire truck. This year’s theme, “The Magic of Christmas” will adorn Elm Street with over eighty entries including: floats, light displays, marching bands, drill teams, horse drawn carriages, community groups, classic vehicles and more! Thank you to our sponsors: Cross Insurance, Brady Sullivan, Autofair, WZID, Baker Newman Noyes, Benefit Strategies, Wadleigh, Starr, & Peters, KW Metropolitan Realty, and Northway Bank!
