Weekend Watching July-15-2015

It may not quite be Friday yet, but it’s never too early to prepare for the weekend! If you’re at a loss for what to do, don’t worry! Our weekend watching has you covered!

A&E Coffee’s One Year Celebration

A&E Coffee & Tea is very excited to announce the one year anniversary of their Manchester location. The café will host a jam packed weekend of events to celebrate this milestone from July 16th to the 19th at the Manchester café. Keep reading for specifics on what’ll be happening each day!

Live Music

There is always live music downtown in Manchester! The Shaskeen, Strange Brew Tavern, N’Awlins, Central Ale House, Murphy’s Taproom, Fratellos, Milly’s Tavern, The Wild Rover, XOonElm, A&E Coffee, and even more have live music every weekend! Thursday the 16th

A&E Coffee’s One Year Celebration

kickoff the weekend with a Latte Art Throwdown starting at 8pm. The event is free to attend and $5 if you want to participate in the competition.

Java Jams at Cafe La Reine

Join Cafe La Reine for Java Jams from 7:30pm-9:30pm at the cafe! There will be free admittance and this week’s featured artist is Jordan Levesque!

Peter Pan at the Palace Theatre

Peter Pan and his mischievous fairy sidekick, Tinker Bell, visit the nursery of the Darling children late one night in search of his missing shadow. He takes the Darling children on the adventure of a lifetime as they unite with the Lost Boys and Tiger Lily and her Pounce to defeat the villainous Captain Hook and his band of pirates. Friday the 17th

A&E Coffee’s One Year Celebration

The cafe will feature local music from 5pm to 9pm. Date Night in the Pottery Studio Spend a night crafting with your loved one with this crash course on the pottery wheel. At the end of the night you can pick a glaze and your creation will be fired for you to take home! You have a choice of a 6pm or 7:30 pm class. Visit their page for more info!

Free Line Dancing Lessons at Club Manchvegas

Find your inner cowboy, and learn to step with the best of them! This free lesson starts at 6:30p. No cowboy boots required! Visit their website to find out more.


Saturday the 18th

A&E Coffee’s One Year Celebration

The cafe will feature local music from 12pm to 7pm. In addition to the music on Saturday, the café will host a craft fair from 10am to 3pm.

Open Training with Theatre KAPOW

Join Theatre KAPOW for their open trainings, which involve acting, movement, improvisation, voice, speech, object work, and more. All are invited, no experience is necessary. Click here for more info.

Opening Night: The Annex presents Vivian Beer

Check out Vivian Beer’s exhibition of interesting furniture pieces at the Annex! The artist reception starts at 7p. Click here for more details!

Kids’ Movie Night at the Training Station

If it’s time for a parents’ night out, drop your kids off at The Training Station for a kids’ movie night! From 5:00pm-8:00pm your kids will take a 45 minute martial arts class followed by pizza and How to Train Your Dragon 2! The cost is $20 per child or $15 if they bring a friend! Headliners comedy club was voted New Hampshire’s best comedy club we are inside the Radisson Hotel downtown Manchester see Boston and New York’s best comedians live each weekend. Sunday the 19th

A&E Coffee’s One Year Celebration

the cafe will have another craft fair from 10am to 3 pm and local performer Jonny Clockworks will close the weekend with a puppet show from 1pm to 3pm.

Sundays Are Made for Brunching and Sunday Fundays!

Head to Strange Brew Tavern or Penuche’s for live music, Firefly Bistro to build your own bloody mary, The Farm for $5 bloody’s and mimosas and $5 1/2 pound burgers all day, Murphy’s Diner for an extensive french toast menu, The Red Barn Diner for a great specials menu and homemade pie, or B&B for a quick and delicious breakfast among many, many other spots!
