intownmanchlogoIt’s vacation week here in New Hampshire. The Queen City has no shortage of fun, family-friendly events to get you and your kiddos out of the house, without traveling far from home! Amoskeag Fishways Learning and Visitors Center | 4 Fletcher Street | Feb 27th + 28th, 10AM-Noon

Amokskeag Fishways is hosting vacation programs February 26th & 27th from 10am-noon for 1st-5th graders! Cost is only $10/family per program. Call ahead to pre-register. Please come prepared for outdoor activities. Call 603-626-FISH for more information.

February 26th is “Tracks and Traces” where your child can “learn about tracks and other clues that animals are awake and active, and search for their signs around the Fishways.”
February 27th is “Fabulous Fur and Feathers” where your child can “discover how river critters, furry or feathery, stay cozy and warm.”

Waterworks Café is running Children’s Lunch Specials all week including: mac & cheese, chicken tenders, and mini cheese burgers. All will be served with fries or goldfish and a juice! Call 603-782-5088 for more information.

Muse Paint Bar | 42 Hanover Street | All week long

Muse Paintbar will be hosting Family Day sessions throughout February vacation week! Art instructions include “Firefly Lamp,” “Rainbow Mare,” and “Aztec Sunflowers.” Check their website for more information!

Vertical Dreams Inc. | 250 Commercial Street | All week long

Vertical Dreams’ indoor rock climbing gym will be open extended hours for vacation week! Monday-Friday they’ll be open noon-10pm and on Saturday, March 1st, they’ll be open 11am-10pm. Check out their website for more information.

CHaD Battle of the Badges | Verizon Wireless Arena | Saturday, March 1st, 5pm-7:30pm

The 7th annual CHaD Battle of the Badges Hockey Championship game will be on Saturday, March 1st from 5:00pm-7:30pm. Tickets are only $10 and kids under 10 are free! Wear red to support team fire or blue to support team police! Get your tickets here!

Currier Museum of Art | 150 Ash Street | All week long

The Currier Museum of Art is offering free admission Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week! In addition, they will be hosting a few events throughout the week for all ages! Family studio session from 11am-1pm on Wednesday, February 26th, Drawing in the Galleries on Thursday, Feburary 27th from 1pm-3pm, and a scavenger hunt on Friday, February 28th at 11:30am!
