There are elements about Downtown Manchester that are amazing! Our dining selections are phenomenal and we have an abundance of public parks. We have a growing arts scene, as well as local entertainment and sports venues! Downtown has accomplished so much in the past 20 years to help make us a competitive, Live Work Play destination.
The time has come for us to start thinking strategically for what the next steps are for Downtown. Whether you live downtown, work downtown, or just venture downtown for recreational activities…you MUST have an opinion of what could be added, changed, or improved. Outdoor skating rink? Heated Sidewalks? Diagonal Crosswalks? Maybe you have thoughts on how to fill vacant spaces, or keep young people living Downtown?
Your opinions matter, so we have developed a strategic Downtown Planning event so that the stakeholders of the community can all get together and create an action plan! The Downtown Next Steps Summit will be held Tuesday, February 12th from 8am-2pm at The Radisson Hotel. Please click HERE to learn more and register, if you haven’t already.
To kick off the Next Steps Summit, we have an amazing group of Panelists who will be speaking. These are all people who have helped to shape Downtown into what it has become, and they want to help inspire you to come up with ideas of what it will be in the future! Please, take a look at the Panelists below…
Special guest Dennis Delay, Economist from the New Hampshire Center for Public Policy Studies, will be presenting a Demographic and Economic Analysis that will be very informative to those attending and will directly relate to what will be talked about within discussion groups.
